A Project Rooted in the Local Community

The local community is fully involved in our project.

This first meeting with the local authorities took place on Friday 22nd July 2016. At this meeting the authorities helped us to identify the most vulnerable children from the nearby villages of Sumaili, Maluwira, Saiti, Kalino, Makwinya, Talian, Issa, Salimu and Mwmadi.

The first term started in September 2016, enrolments opened the second week of August.

In the pictures, above and on the left, Rita Milesi meets the local authorities to set the admission criteria to the school.
